HOW TO PREPARE ⌃
- Soak: Before each use, soak the chasen’s prongs in warm water for a few minutes to soften them and prevent breakage.
- Whisk: Add 2-4 grams of matcha to a bowl, pour in 60-70 ml of hot water (around 80°C), and whisk in a “W” or zig-zag motion. Continue whisking until a fine, frothy layer forms on top.
- Rinse & Dry: After each use, rinse the chasen with warm water (avoid soap) and gently pat dry. Let it air-dry standing upright or on a whisk holder to maintain its shape.
